If you've placed an order for a Team New York Uniform for the Gay Games in Cologne, Germany, you may pick up that uniform at Boxers NYC on Monday, July 12th from 7pm-9pm.  Please bring ID to get your uniform.  If you are unable to attend this event, you may send a friend, but you must email us directly to let us know who is picking up your uniform for you.

METROPOLITAN TENNIS GROUP
LIBERTY OPEN TOURNAMENT
Join in to play this year's Liberty Open Tennis Tournament.



The tournament is held at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows (home of the US Open!). The festivities will begin on Friday night, July 2nd with a Welcome/Draw party. Play begins Saturday, July 3rd and continues through Tuesday, July 6th when the trophies will be presented to the winners and finalists. A banquet will be held Monday night, July 5th.
 
Singles, doubles and mixed doubles events are offered to men and women of all levels and abilities from beginner to advanced. The 2009 Liberty Open was voted GLTA Best Tournament of the Year by the players so don’t miss out on this year’s event. We look forward to seeing you in July!

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE GOTHAM KNIGHTS RUGBY FOOTBALL CLUB!
 
The Gotham Knights Rugby Club has won the Bingham Cup beating the Sydney Convicts 18-5. The Bingham Cup, held in Minneapolis this year, is a biannual international, non-professional, gay rugby union tournament, first held in 2002. The tournament was named after Mark Bingham, a former University of California – Berkeley rugby star. Bingham died in the September 11, 2001 attacks on board United Airlines Flight 93.

We’re very proud of our players and the hard work it took by them, the club, and all the supporters to get us to this point.
