THE TEAM NEW YORK BUS TOUR!!! NEXT STOP THIS THURSDAY, MAY 7th!
The Team New York Bus is going on tour all over New York City!
Here it is! The Team New York Bus Tour. No, there isn't really a "bus", but rather a hypothetical tour of athletes, as they stop from place to place, meeting their public. We'll be stopping at one bar each week, and we'll invite all of the LGBT Athletes participating in the upcoming Outgames and Gay Games to come in and have a drink! Additionally, each week we will feature one of the many LGBT Sports and Recreation organizations at these events!
These are social events which have been set up as fundraisers, as each bar will donate money towards our project to buy uniforms for each New York athlete going to Copenhagen this July, and Cologne next July! There is NO COVER to get in. Cash bar. Drink specials!
That's right, all registered athletes will receive a FREE TEAM NEW YORK UNIFORM (to be distributed in June), so we all look fabulous walking into the stadium together at the Opening Ceremony as one New York contingent!!
We count on your support at these events, and hope you will encourage some friends to join you for each event. You'll get an email telling you where the "bus" will be stopping each week, but you could also check on the Out of Bounds NYC Website at www.oobnyc.org.
