The Auction will be hosted by celebrated stand-up comic and radio personality FRANK DECARO (Sirius XM Out on Q, The Daily Show)!

May 7th -- FRNY Variety Show at the LGBT Center. Event is 7-10 PM and base tickets beforehand are $15 and $25 at the door. Front Runners own members take the stage for fun and foibles with American Idol style judging. There is a bar! And all proceeds go to The Center's Lesbian Cancer Initiative.

June 26th -- 9 AM in Central Park: FRNY's Lesbian and Gay Pride Run. This fun five-mile run takes place in Central Park and features amazing pre and post-race entertainment in one of the most inclusive and festive atmospheres. Prize money to the top finishers and many raffle prizes await lucky participants. All proceeds go to SAGE. See you out there!

Every Sat at 10 AM -- FRNY fun run in Central Park. We welcome runners of all ages, paces and types. We have newcomers every week in this accepting and welcoming atmosphere. Meet us in the park and come for coffee and bagels after. Details at www.frny.org

Every Wed at 7 PM--FRNY hosts a fun run in Central Park. Runners meet on 72nd St. just inside the park near Central Park West. Members grab dinner after -- Details at www.frny.org.

Speaking About Silence – Homophobia in the Sports World

A few days from the 2010 Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver, Fondation Émergence is launching its annual campaign to fight against homophobia. Entitled Speaking About Silence, this campaign is geared toward the sports world and will reach its highpoint on May 17, 2010, on the International Day Against Homophobia.

The campaign aims to speak about the sports world’s reigning silence on everything related to sexual diversity, and to call on all those involved: educational institutions, the media, professional and amateur sports organisations, sponsors, gay men and lesbians, sexual minorities, and public authorities.

Two posters and one pamphlet are being offered both in English and in French

“Love, Love” – A Very Special “Membership” Themed Doubles Party Night

Join Metropolitan Tennis Group (MTG) for “Love, Love” Membership Night on Saturday, May 22nd at 7:00pm. MTG welcomes new and current members to participate in this special membership appreciation night with round-robin formatted party. New and current members will contend against one another for a fun evening of tennis and solidarity.

NEW members who sign up for this doubles party and who join MTG ($25.00 membership dues) will receive FREE entry into 2010 Summer Ladder (Summer competition wherein wins and losses against other members dictates position on the ladder)!

CURRENT members who succeed in bringing new/ old members to the party and who succeed in having them join/ rejoin MTG will also gain FREE entry into the 2010 Summer Ladder!

There will also be DOOR PRIZES awarded during each session!
